Anushka Sharma, she is a Bollywood actor as well as producer. She is among the most highly paid actor in the industry and has been awarded for her performance. Nush has also been a Brand Ambassador for several businesses and has her own clothing for women collection. She has also made her an appearance on Forbes Magazine. Anushka Sharma's parents are Kumar Sharma and Ashima Sharma. Her father is a colonel-retd. She is also a homemaker. Karnesh Singh, her brother and producer of films, served in the Merchant Navy. Anushka Sharma graduated at the Army School, Bangalore and completed her an undergraduate degree, a Bachelor of Arts (B.A) from Mount Carmel College, Bangalore. Anushka is a master of studies in economics. Anushka Sharma did not want to make it as an actor She wanted to be a model, or even a writer. Anushka enrolled in Elite Model Management after graduating and underwent training by Prasad Bidapa, the stylist consultant. Anushka began modelling in the year 2017 at Wendell Rodricks Les Vamps Show. She was also selected to represent the collection Spring Summer 2007 of Rodricks. Anushka Sharma, in addition to her modelling career, joined an acting academy and began to perform in films. In 2008 Anushka Sharma began her acting career with the movie Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi opposite Shah Rukh Khan. The actress took a day off to prepare for the screen test, and refused to perform an impractical version. Then she was offered three films by Yash Raj Films. In the film, she performed the role of a young girl who married a middle aged man (the part Shah Rukh Khan is playing). The film was hit on the box office and was the second-highest-grossing movie of 2008. Anushka performed along with Shahid Kapoor and Vir Das, and Meiyang Chang in the 2010 movie "Badmash Company". It received mixed reviews. Anushka appeared in a film named Band Baaja Baaraat, starring Ranveer in which she portrayed an American Punjabi girl from middle class who sets up her wedding planning business. The movie received a great reception and was later a sleeper. Anushka's contract for three films with Yash Raj Films was completed with the Band Baaja Baraat.
